Why an acoustic phone booth?
Open offices are space-efficient but disastrous for concentration and confidentiality. Research shows employees lose an average of 86 minutes a day to background noise and interruptions. An acoustic phone booth solves this with a single intervention: a sound-tight place for conversations that don't need an audience.
A ZMN booth reduces noise by up to 32 dB — a normal conversation of ~60 dB drops to ~28 dB outside the pod. That's quieter than a whisper. Conversely: office noise, coffee machines and colleagues stay outside your call. Clients hear you clearly, not your office.

What is an acoustic phone booth?+
An acoustic phone booth is a sound-tight, free-standing 1-person cabin where you can call or take video meetings undisturbed in an open office. The walls reduce noise by up to 32 dB — a normal conversation is barely audible outside the pod and office noise no longer bleeds into your call.
What is the difference between a phone booth, call booth and meeting pod?+
In practice the same product. 'Office phone booth', 'call booth' and 'phone booth' are synonyms for a 1-person silent pod with sound reduction, ventilation and lighting. We call it an acoustic phone booth because the acoustics are the core.
How much dB reduction does a good booth need?+
For confidential conversations (HR, sales, customer contact) we recommend at least 28 dB. Our booths achieve 28-32 dB — that's a whisper on the outside while you speak normally inside.
Do I need a permit or installation?+
No. A phone booth is a free-standing piece of furniture: plug it in and go. No fixed installation, no permit, no changes to the building. We deliver and assemble within 2 hours.
Can the booth be relocated later?+
Yes. All pods are demountable and (optionally) movable on casters. When your office moves, the booth simply moves with you — without quality loss.
